Here is a great tip for adding music to your Google Slides Presentation.

Music always enhances.   Never put too much information on a slide.  That's what talking is for, and I like to keep them up only 10-15 seconds so you keep people's interest.  

Although most of these suggestions are based on Powerpoint-type platforms, it's interesting to see new things and know what's out there to get creative!

To create your own digital content is a big step but not one out of reach for any of us.  These tools allow you to create resources for online use in the classroom OR give you an idea of what is possible.  Investigate some of the possibilities and then discuss with me and we'll see what can be done with a little thought and planning.

One of the biggest mistakes I hear about is that people signup to be on a social media site and then they don't complete their profile which reduces their effectiveness. Yes- it's important to fully complete your profile.

5 Creative Uses Of PowerPoint Presentations 

I think "death by PowerPoint" is used so often because so many users have not "taken the pains to make a memorable..." presentation and the concept of creativity might not have even been considered. Not totally sure what the answer is, but I do believe that if more individuals could have their eyes opened to the potential that PowerPoint has, we might be able to get passed the "death" issue. That means we have to get the great ideas to the teachers and  their students... not just telling them, but perhaps showing them...

PPT is here to stay. We should learn all of its features and be imaginative in how we use it.

For those who fear death by PowerPoint (of whom I am  not).

A GREAT PowerPoint is compelling, entertaining and memorable!

It is no more just about PowerPoint...

This is pretty much an ad for emaze, but it's good to know what is available commercially in terms of presentations.

Interesting list. Worth checking out some of these tools to see if I like them better than Prezi :)
