Have you ever been labeled as overly sensitive? Do you absorb the emotions of others? There is a good chance you're an emotional empath. Empaths are highly sensitive, finely tuned instruments when it comes to emotions. They feel everything, sometimes to an extreme, and are less apt to intellectualize feelings. Their sensitivity is the filter through which they experience life. Empaths are naturally giving, spiritually attuned and good listeners.

First I want to thank you all for your interest, and for coming in. We will be learning…definition of empathy, a little history, we will share in some exercises, have question and answer times, learn about how to safe guard ourselves as in ..grounding, protection, cleansing, balance and focusing. We will also in the same time learn how to shut off the overwhelming take overs we sometimes have.

An Empath is a person who was born with unique variations in the central nervous system. This means how the brain is configured and how the nervous system works in the body. This has not yet been studied and quantified by science. Instead it is being brought forth by individuals who are becoming self-aware of these qualities and who explore this experience through creative and intuitive outlets.

Many empaths feel that empathy is a curse they can’t escape from. Sometimes when I am attracting a lot of peoples negative emotions and pain I start feeling the same way. I am not going to make you think that just because I have pretty good control over my empath that I never suffer. Sure it happens. Empathy is a genetic human trait that is inherent in our DNA. However not everyone labels themselves an empath. Clairsentient is the ability to extend or project one's sense beyond the physical body.
