On Tuesday 4 May 2021, His Royal Highness the Hereditary Grand Duke and Luxembourg's Minister of the Economy, Franz Fayot, visited the premises of SECURITYMADEIN.LU, the Cybersecurity Agency for the Luxembourg Economy and Municipalities.

After a general presentation of the agency's activities,the Hereditary Grand Duke and the Economy Minister attended demonstrations including a scenario in ROOM#42, a cyber crisis simulator that allows teams participating in such an exercise to identify areas for improvement in order to consolidate their collective competence in crisis management.

A pillar of economic attractiveness for Luxembourg, "cybersecurity is fundamental to the development of a trusted digital economy" recalled Minister Franz Fayot, who congratulated Pascal Steichen, CEO of SECURITYMADEIN. LU, and his team for the work carried out in investigating and responding to incidents on the one hand and in supporting Luxembourg companies for better prevention and management of cyber risk on the other.

François Thill, Cybersecurity Director at the Ministry of the Economy and Chairman of the Board of Directors of SECURITYMADEIN.LU, thanked the government for its continued support in the development of cybersecurity in Luxembourg, allowing the country to position itself as a major player in Europe in this field.
