Computer coding is essentially a language that computer uses. When we think about helping kids learn computer coding, we automatically think we need a computer first. But in fact, there are many ways to learn computer coding without a computer, as many thinking and coding approach can be learned in different activities off-screen. While technology with the purpose to educate often gains due attention, a widely overlooked sub-section is that of teaching future generations how to create such technology. With the rapidly growing influence technology has over the human race, in order to progress this further, future generations must be able to understand and build upon prior developments, making these basic educational tools vital in introducing the fundamentals of how technology works to accommodate the increasing interest in this field.
